Join me for the second year of the BYOA program! This year we will dive into more medicine making and materia medica. We’ll expand on our knowledge of individual herbs, history of medicinal uses, some herbal science, and have an opportunity to further learn about plant identification. We’ll play with forms of medicine making such as electuaries, compresses & poultices for herbal first aid, distillation, and syrups. Each class you will leave with your own crafted remedy, and a remedy created by me as an example.
This year’s class will take place at Harvest Moon Holistic Studio in Media, PA (Kayla’s studio). Address and parking details will be sent out in a confirmation email.
Tea and light refreshments will be provided for each class. Please bring a notebook, folder, pen/pencil with you and any other beverages you love to enjoy. There is filtered water available in the studio.
Classes will take place every other Saturday from 10am-12:30pm
